Sunday we decided to lei..low, ha. We made it to the local chapel which was so cute. I loved wearing the Aloha gear and flipflops to church!! We had been on the go the last 3 days and Olivia really wanted to swim in the pool where we were staying. Our pool kicked bum for kids. There were little lagoons/waterfalls areas all over the place, 2 waterslides, and 3 hot tubs. She had a great time!

Kilauea Lighthouse & Wildlife Refuge, Lumahai Beach
I believe this is Lumahai beach where the movie South Pacific was filmed. To get to it you have to park your car on the side of the road and walk on this steep trail to get to the beach. It was worth it..so beautiful!
Ke'e beach, The dolphin Restaurant in Hanalei, and Ono shaved ice in Kapaa
I'm not exactly sure which beaches we were swimming on most of the time. My Brother Dave knew "ever ting about te island bra" so we just lived that worry free lifestyle and followed along most days.

We made it..day #1
{My brother Jared was reading radio astronomy. Who reads a text book for leisure?? Guess that's why he has a better job than all of us.}
{We finally made it to Lihue Kauai! I booked the trip in Feburary so it seemed like it took forever to finally arrive. My 2 younger brothers and SNL Shannon came along.}
{The first night Liv and I literally went to bed at 4:30pm. Liv was up showered and dressed with life vest in tow by 6am the next morning..we all have been getting up by 5:30am..guess we'll stay on that Pacific Time Zone Schedule}
{we took a walk together the first morning on the beach. Kauai is oldest of the Hawaiian Island and is known as the Garden Isle..however, it really should be known as the chicken island..SERIOUSLY!}
{I put some pictures of our condo up for my mom. We're staying at the Outrigger Waipouli Beach Resort in Kapaa. The place rocks! It's a great place for families.}
{When we went for a walk we saw this helmet wash a shore. I'd like to think it came from Japan but it could just be a Japanese construction company from Hawaii.}
{My mom offered to watch Cruz for us. As d-day got closer I finally decided to leave him with her. I'm sad we won't get any Aloha pictures with him. I bought him so many cute bathing suits and board shorts.}
p.s. MOM, thanks so much for watching him. We've been on the go since we arrived. I don't think Cruz would have survived being in the car for so long!
